How To Build A Lap Desk
Two pieces of plywood that are the thickness of your laptop plus two inches and the width of your laptop plus two inches.

If you are using raw fabric fold your fabric along the side so you dont have a raw edge. Then from the USB ports on your laptop connect a desktop keyboard and external mouse. Note if you plan to stain the desk be careful with any access glue as the stain will not absorb to these areas once the glue has dried.
